Cottage, Old Wives Lees

This project comprised two separate elements completed a few years apart. The first stage involved a garden-facing extension that provided a new living room and master bedroom, both with large windows overlooking the mature garden and pond. The living room included a feature stone wall and log-burner.

The second part created a new, larger kitchen/family room in a style that reflected the previous renovation works, again taking advantage of the spectacular garden views.

Both extensions had to be carefully married with the existing cottage, sensitive to the unique brick detailing and landscape constraints.
